This order rules over Hamlet through many forms. They use force by order to the guardsmen, who are highly trusted and trained with many weapons. The order also uses fear control, their favorite tactic. These people have been ruling Hamlet since the fall of man. The set out to free themselves from the sins and pains caused by the race of man. They blame the plague on the vast populace and advancement of technology. When the world was whipped clean of most people these survivors bond together and collected many resources, which they violently hoarded. And after about a ten year project they finished building, training, and enforcing the ways of Hamlet. The first order of business was silence, there were four elders who killed all of the people who knew about the outside world. Those four then took all of the clueless mass that they produced and ordained a movement of re-population. It was a rough start with people's curiosity peaking but most were quelled by terror. The fear tactics they used was convincing their society that there were beasts and monsters on the outside. Now, only someone truly committed to the cause is allowed to arise to the position of elder. The elders are the only ones who are to know about the outside and who each other are. The society of Hamlet fears and respects them. They believe they have the true form of protection, knowledge control. |
